Actress Melissa George is going to star in David Slade’s horror movie 30 days of Night. She who will play a Deputy along with her husband the Sheriff are torn between their own survivals and saving the town they love.
The movie tells the story of a quiet, isolated Alaska town called Barrow where the sun sets and doesn’t rise for over thirty days and nights. Through the darkness, comes an evil that threatens the residents of the town.
Produced by Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures the movie is expected to release in October 19, 2007.
Melissa played the character of Kathy Lutz in the horror movie Amityville Horror released in 2005 which also starred Ryan Reynolds. She played the character of Lauren Reed on the American television series Alias from 2003 to 2004.
