Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are rejoicing at the birth of their twins. The couple, who welcomed son Knox Leon and daughter Vivienne Marcheline on Saturday, were together and "calm" during the delivery, with their doctor joking how Pitt "was my assistant". Staff at the Foundation Lenval Hospital in Nice France, told reporters that it was Brad who cut the twins’ umbilical cords!
The actress delivered her twins by Caesarian section and there were "absolutely no problems" with the birth. Angelina’s obstetrician revealed, "It was an epidural, so (Angelina) was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy. And Pitt was... perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional."
The first pictures of the tots have reportedly been sold for $11 million to an as-yet-unnamed US. magazine. The couple intends to donate the money to charity.
