Former attorney Howard K. Stern has been accused of killing former Playboy playmate, Anna Nicole Smith. Nicole's mother Virgie Arthur and Stern, who are fighting for their rights to take her remains for burial near to their homes appeared at the court for the first time on Tuesday.
Nicole's ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, who is fighting for the paternity of Nicole's five-month old daughter, Dannielynn also appeared in the court as a witness for Mrs. Arthur. Nicole's family members have been blaming Stern publicly for her death.
Smith died earlier this month after her nurse found her unconscious in a suite at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
