Michael Jackson seems to be getting way beyond help with one costly problem following another in quick succession. Only recently, he forefeit his dreamy Neverland and now, he’s facing a 7 million dollar law suit. Arab Prince Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Isa is suing MJ for going back on a major music deal after accepting huge amounts to sing tracks composed by him. The Prince, a big fan of the pop sensation, meaning to help resurrect MJ’s fallen career, proposed the deal and shelled out millions to move MJ, his kids and entourage to Bahrain. However, MJ has neither recorded the tracks nor performed on stage as he had promised.
Abdullah's lawyer Bankim Thanki told High Court that his client, who was an amateur songwriter, formed a 'close personal relationship' with Michael after having invited him, his children and personal staff to stay in Bahrain in June 2005. The lawyer added that Michael had signed a contract for recording albums, writing an autobiography and staging shows. None of these materialized in spite of the lavish advances given. It was clarified that MJ stayed in Bahrain as a guest of Shaikh Abdulla for almost a year after he was cleared the child molestation charges in 2005.
MJ’s lawyer has however vehemently denied the charges and insists that all the favours from the Prince were mere gifts and that there was no deal of any sort.
