The Dark Knight, the latest Batman movie, has stormed the US box office chart, bringing in $155.34 million in its opening weekend. The movie, starring Christian Bale as its winged superhero and late actor Heath Ledger as The Joker, wiped out the all-time opening weekend record of $151.1 million formerly held by Spider-Man 3.
