Christian Bale, who donned the Batman guise in Batman Returns, reprises the role in the soon-to-release Dark Knight. Christian is all set to play the superhero in other possible sequels, but he has just one condition. He does not want Batman's sidekick Robin to be brought into the picture at all.
Christian is hoping that the character of Robin is not brought back into any future Batman movies, because he will then resign in protest. He says, "If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work."
