The car being used in the James Bond movie currently in the making went off the road and into a lake while being driven to the shooting spot.
Shooting for the next Bond movie Quantum of Solace was in progress in Northern Italy. The iconic Bond car was being driven to the set in heavy rain, when it skidded off the road and into Lake Garda. The Italian state Television channel caught the accident on video camera and the footage was telecast to an aghast audience. Producers of the movie stated that the driver of the Aston Martin car sustained only minor injuries and was driven to a hospital for treatment.
