After pleasing fans and critics alike thrice, Jason Bourne will now return for one more shot at box-office glory. The Bourne series is one of Hollywood’s profitable franchises in recent years. The recent film, The Bourne Ultimatum, recently scooped 3 Oscars in the technical category – Best Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Sound Editing.
Reports indicate that Matt Damon, who plays the suave assassin, will team up with director Paul Greengrass for the fourth film. This will be the duo’s third film together for the series after The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.
However, no date for the production has been set up. Reports indicate that Universal Studios, which owns the Bourne franchise, wants to start the film by late 2008 or early 2009 to cash in on the momentum.
