Brad Pitt turned hero at the Venice Film Festival by saving a young autograph hunter from falling into a lake. The actor was signing autographs for a group of young fans on a boat when one teenager lost his balance and fell into the water. Brad quickly grabbed the fan and pulled him out of the water. He resumed signing autographs only after ensuring the fallen fan was safe.
He was at the Italian Festival to promote Coen Brothers’ new movie Burn After Reading. The actor was handed the award for Best Actor 2007 belatedly at the festival for his performance in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Brad was awarded the honour last year, but was unable to accept the prize until this year's ceremony.
