Britney Spears’ Piece of Me garnered three awards at the 25th MTV Video Music Awards held last night.
Britney’s triumphant evening began with her saying, "Thank you so much. Thank you for all the love. I'm here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday – the 25th anniversary of the VMAs. This is the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and it starts right now." She won all three categories in which she was nominated, i.e. the prestigious Video of The Year trophy, the Best Female Video song and the Best Pop Video prize.
Chris Brown took home the Best Male Video prize, and Pussycat Dolls won the Best Dancing In A Video trophy.
