The First Lady of France can never be free of scandal! French President Nicolas Sarkozy's model-turned-singer wife Carla Bruni has sparked a controversy yet again. This time, it’s over the lyrics of one of the songs in her recent music album.
A particular line in one of the songs has Carla boasting about her ‘thirty lovers’ that shocked listeners and raised eyebrows sky-high! Carla, who dated Sir Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton before tying the knot with the French President, denies the literal implication of the lyrics, and has put it down to poetic license. She says, "It's not that I had a lot of lovers. It's that I never hid them. It's a different thing. And I have not one day of regret."
