Batman star Christian Bale, who is a keen horse rider, insists that confidence, which is his most vital acting technique, is something he gained during his horse riding days. He says, "I love horses. I've learned from them. Once you master a horse -- but it also masters you -- you gain more confidence in yourself. When you can mount it and move it and move along with it, that is a hard-won and very real accomplishment."
