At the fifth annual Visual Effects Society Awards, the nine-time Oscar winner Dennis Muren will be honoured with its Lifetime Achievement Award to be held at the Kodak Grand Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland. VES will honour him on February 11, for his skills at solving storytelling points with the use of visual effects.
He was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in June; 1999.He works as a Senior Visual Effects Supervisor for ILM (Industrial Light and Magic).
