Dennis Quaid is outraged with ex-wife Meg Ryan for revealing all about their 2000 marriage break-up, insisting that it will only cause their son Jack more "pain" and "turmoil".
Meg and Dennis remained mum about the details of their split for the past eight years, but in a recent interview, the actress revealed the troubles and difficulties she faced during and after their divorce. "Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time, and that was very painful. I found out more about that after I was divorced," she said.
Dennis is furious about her candid comments, saying she should think twice about what she airs to the press if she wants to protect their 16-year-old son's feelings. He even hinted that her allegations of his infidelity are not completely accurate. "It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship. Also, I find it regrettable that our son, Jack, has to be reminded in a public way of the turmoil and pain that every child feels in a divorce."
Dennis, now married to Kimberly Buffington with whom he has twins, adds, "I myself moved on years ago and am fortunate to have a happy, beautiful family."
