Jonny Depp, easily one of the hottest Hollywood stars, has given a shot at directing a music video. Titled ‘L’incendie’, which means ‘The Fire’, the song is in his wife’s latest album.
Vanessa Paradis, the serenading siren’s latest album is 'Divine Idyll'; ‘L’incendie’, which is a part of ths album, is already topping the charts in France and Belgium. In the music video directed by her husband, she stands in a flowing peach dress alone on a stage in a deserted auditorium. She is watched by just one man [presumably Depp], whose face remains in the shadows. Suddenly, the microphone in front of her goes up in flames and she starts moving towards the lone spectator; Her every step sets off a burst of flames on the floor. At the end of the video, when she reaches the man in the shadows, the two of them burst into flames and disappear!
The idea and the execution is quite unique, and the privelged few who got to see it ahead of the world are just raving about the pyro-fuelled video!
