It was just a few months ago that Drew Barrymore was all ga ga over Justin Long and could not stop talking about him on Oprah's talk show. Well, now with news of the breakup out, mum is the word.
The two started seeing one another in August 2007 after they met on the set of He's Just Not That Into You, which will be out in theatres in 2009. Drew had been very ecstatic about the relationship. In March, she had told Vogue that she was so happy, "my cheeks hurt" adding that their relationship was "healthy, productive, supportive and full of humour". Close friends of Drew had commented that the two were made-for-each-other and just perfect. Nevertheless, the split has been officially announced by Drew's spokesperson. The reason for the split however, is yet to be revealed.
