Eva’s ad, too hot to air

Calvin Klein’s super sexy advertisement for the company’s Secret Obsession fragrance has been boycotted by several US TV networks. The ad features a nude Eva Mendez writhing seductively on a bed. Many broadcasting stations have vehemently refused to display the ad. The fashion firm's heads however, remain unperturbed. This was the reaction they expected. Tom Murry, president of Calvin Klein Inc., tells the New York Daily News, "We believe the commercial is exceptional and hits the mark for Secret Obsession. We are anticipating a very successful global launch."
