A year ago, Freida Pinto was nowhere near as popular as she is today. But now, thanks to Danny Boyle, she has found her way on the cover of every leading magazine and is even vying for the Most Beautiful Woman in World title! Vanity Fair has shortlisted 19 women as the most eleigible for the title and while the likes of Charlise Therone and Nicole Kidman have missed a spot on the list, our dusky beauty Freida Pinto has made it!
"Of the billions of women on this planet, only 19, we believe, could start wars. These modern-day Helens of Troy come from both hemispheres and include legends and ingenues," said the rep of the magazine.
Stars from Hollywood who made the list are Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow. Lady politicians on the list are Queen Rania of Jordan and France first lady Carla Bruni. Amongst the super models on the list, two are Gisele Bundchen and Bar Rafaeli (Leonardo’s ex and current lovers respectively)!
