2006 was a sad year for George Clooney in the home front. Two of his best buddies passed away.
Max, George's closest pal, is who he misses most. Max, by the way, was his pet pig! He said, "Max was as old a pig as the vet had ever seen. He was a big part of my life for years. In fact, 2006 was a bad year for my pets. I also had a bulldog that died that year too. It's strange how animals become part of your family."
And strange as it might sound, George's piggy yearnings are quite moving, especially when he talks about how lonely he feels without the fellow. "I won't get another pig. I think Max covered all my pig needs. It's strange not having him sitting on the carpet in the house -- sad, actually. He got me in a lot of trouble though, that pig. He scared the hell out of a lot of delivery people too!"
Now that's quite a pig-tale!
