Gillian Anderson of The X-Files fame prefers London's underground transportation to chauffeur-driven cars. Why? Because she never gets noticed!
Gillian said, "To be honest, it was when I was afraid that people would recognize me that I was recognized much more. When I first arrived in London, I was much more afraid of that, so I stayed in. But after a while, I began to feel claustrophobic and thought, 'I have to get out.' So I went out very confidently, wore a hat, sat with my back to people, and the funny thing is that people would look at me and think 'Is that...? Impossible. She wouldn't ride the tube.' And I get home in peace!"
