He-Man and the Master of the Universe is an American animated TV series produced by Filmation, based on Mattle's successful toy line 'Masters of the Universe' which ran from 1983 to 1985.
However' its first big screen adaptation starring Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and Frank Langella as Skeletor, titled Masters of the Universe, did not work at the box office . Now Warner Bros. alongwith producer Joel Silver is planning for a film on the series to be scripted by Justin Marks.
