Michael Jackson's two eldest children Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, are scheduled to take the stage this weekend to accept the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for their father.
The Recording Academy, which presents the Grammy Awards, will honour the late pop star with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Special Merit Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
A video of the presentation is likely to be included in Sunday night's musical tribute to Jackson during the Grammy telecast, the sources added. The centerpiece of this years Grammy will be a 3D tribute to Jackson, whose shocking death in 2009 shook the world.
The tribute will include a 3D mini movie for 'Earth Song' that was intended to be shown during Jackson's scheduled comeback concerts in London in 2009. The tribute will also include a joint performance by Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, Usher, Celine Dion, and Jennifer Hudson.
