Jennifer Lopez has bagged the Artists for Amnesty award for her work as producer and star of the film, Bordertown that examines the continuing murders of hundreds of women in a Mexican border town.
The movie is directed by Gregory Nava in which Lopez plays an investigative journalist reporting on the serial killings of women in the border city of Juarez, Mexico.
The movie also stars Antonio Banderas and Martin Sheen, which was premiered on Thursday at the Berlin film festival.
