John Travolta is one of the many Hollywooders to come forward to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The actor offered to loan his aircraft to fly in help and supplies to and from the destroyed regions, and in fact flew down there himself. John reveals that what he saw left him aching and devastated, especially after having met a seven-year-old boy who had lost his entire family in the disaster.
"He was walking with a limp because he had been hurt. All he wanted to do was see the inside of our plane. We took him through and gave him treats and all that stuff. To think that he doesn't have a family now is pretty rough," said the actor. Adding, "Everything we brought down, we actually are certain they used because we got a report from our personal doctors. We basically shopped for it, brought it down and then gave them what they needed." Kelly Preston, his wife who accompanied him there, adds, "They're using the supplies in the hospitals now. They're able to perform surgeries... It's wonderful."
