Leonardo DiCaprio says that he is going talk less about environment issues for fear of sounding too patronizing. Leo, who has been campaigning to raise awareness of eco-friendly schemes, says he will not talk too much on them because people may soon get irritated and impatient with him.
He says, "Yes, I have solar panels and all that sort of stuff. However, the more I learn about the subject matter, the more I realize that people find it patronizing. They feel like they're being told what to do when somebody like me reveals that I have solar panels." While most people want to be environmentally good, they can’t afford to. "Not everybody can get solar panels and not everyone can drive a hybrid car. It's not about blame or telling people how to live, it's just about saying, 'Let's all be aware of these issues,'" he adds.
