Elaine Hendrix, who co-starred with 12-year-old Lindsay Lohan in the 1998 Disney film The Parent Trap, has blamed the young star’s rocky personal life on her ‘tumultuous family dynamics’. Elaine insists she knew instinctively way back then that Lindsay was in for a troubled personal life. "I didn’t know she was going to be the next big thing, but it’s not really a surprise that she is where she is. She’s extremely talented, but she has a tumultuous family dynamic happening, so it’s not really a surprise she is where she is. Growing up having the experiences she’s had, those things affect her behaviour and her decisions,” she explains.
