The Mike Myers comedy flick The Love Guru seems to have deeply affected the religious sentiments of Hindus with its comical portrayal of a Hindu guru.

Headed by Rajan Zed, a religious leader in the US, Hindus have voiced their disappointment in the producers and have jointly boycotted the movie. As a result, the movie has been doing very poorly.

Rajan Zed has now written to the producers of the movie, asking them to publish a booklet and make a short film that sets right the misinterpretations of Hinduism that the movie has made. This booklet and film are to be released along with the DVD of the movie.
