The MTV Movie Awards was held on Sunday, at a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles. The Wedding Crashers crashed the show topping the winner’s list with 3 awards, one for best film, best on-screen team (Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson) and best breakthrough performance (Isla Fisher).
Brokeback Mountain heart-throb Jake Gyllenhaal was a double winner when his role in the gay cowboy romance earned him a Best Performance accolade, as well as Best Kiss for his sizzling smooch with Heath Ledger in the epic.
Meanwhile, the show's host Jessica Alba picked up Sexiest Performance for her sultry part in Sin City.
Jim Carrey was awarded the MTV Generation Award for his impressive range and volume of movies. Presenting the award, Will Ferrell claimed, "This man's versatility makes Thomas Jefferson look like a big fat idiot."
The Best Villain went to Hayden Christensen for his role in Star Wars: Episode III.
