The pop superstar was giving a private concert at Paris to mark the launch of her latest album 'Hard Candy'. Addressing a crowd of 1500, Madonna said, “Why do I have this relationship with France? I'm always drawn to working with French people -- and Frenching French people,” and then she grabbed an unidentified French woman and smooched her right there!
Madonna admitted it was a "historical moment" for her to be performing at the Olympia on the same stage as icons including Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich. And it turned out to be a historic moment for the French woman, who was stunned into abashed silence following the kiss! Viva la France!
