Mariah Carey recently said in an interview, "When I was in an unhappy place in my life, I always wanted to be kidnapped. I just wanted a way out, but I didn't have one." She added that one such time was the period following her split with hubby Tommy Mottola.
Mariah, now happily married to Nick Cannon, says that Nick kidnapped her to propose to her! "He sort of kidnapped me and took me on a helicopter ride. Then he proposed," she said. Mariah added that Nick is the best thing that could have happened to her, and rumours that say otherwise are baseless untruths.
