Pierce Brosnan has beaten fellow actors Bruce Willis and Richard Gere to land the title of most popular gay icon over 50 years old!
Ex-James Bond Pierce took 33% of the vote, compared with Bruce and Richard, who took 25 and 14% respectively, while Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson scooped fourth and fifth places respectively.
As for the Lesbian icon, the winner is Helen Mirren with 32% of the poll. Susan Sarandon and Meryl Streep claimed second and third places with 28 and 25% respectively, and the top five was rounded by Goldie Hawn and Dolly Parton.
The poll was conducted by an online dating agency.
