Did you ever wonder how Reese Witherspoon lent her voice to the female giant in Monster vs. Aliens? Here is the scoop. She learnt it from none other than veteran actor Bruce Willis. True. Reese has reportedly admitted that she learnt for the movie by watching Willis' action movies when the producers told her that they wanted her to sound like Willis' character John McClane from the Die Hard movies.

The Oscar-winner said that the crew wanted her to sound like Hollywood's greatest action heroes – Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone. There is also a report that the producers took Reese out of the sound booth to watch Bruce Willis' movies. Looks like a lot is involved even in lending your voice to a character.
