Whitney Houston, who has been battling alcohol and drugs, has made very few public appearances and even lesser live performances in the last couple of years. Now, she has been shortlisted by billionaire philanthropist John Cauldwell to do a one-hour performance at the Cauldwell Children Legends Ball, Battersea Evolution arena, on May 8. For this performance, she will be paid 1.4 million pounds!
The spokesperson said that Cauldwell was looking to raise as much funds as possible for the Cauldwell Chidren’s Charity and believed that a lineup of performances by stars of Whitney’s calibre would do just that.
