Veteran character actor Bruno Kirby died on Monday in Los Angeles due to complications related to leukemia. He was 57.
His wife Lynn Sellers said ”Bruno's spirit will continue to live on not only in his rich body of film and television work but also through the lives of individuals he has touched throughout his life."
He is known for playing the best friend in the comedies When Harry Met Sally and City Slickers. Son of actor Bruce Kirby, he made his film debut in the little-seen The Young Graduates in 1971.
Some of his TV appearances were Fame, Hill Street Blues and HBO’s hit series Entourage.
