Academy-award winner Julia Roberts is planning to produce a film based on the story of a murdered British conservationist. It tells the story of an award-winning wildlife documentary filmmaker who was shot dead in Kenya last year. It was still not known if she was killed by a thief or by opponenets of her conservation work.
Roberts will also act in the film, playing the role of the conservationist, Joan Root. Roberts rose to fame with her film Pretty Woman, starring opposite Richard Gere.
She won the Best Actress award in 2001 for her film Erin Brockovich. The "America's Sweetheart", is playing the role of Joanne Herring in the upcoming movie Charlie Wilson's War, based on the book with the same title by George Crile.
