Paris Hilton has started serving her 23-day sentence two days early in Los Angeles County Jail, Lynwood, California, for violating her probation. She attended the MTV awards before surrendering. She was arrested for driving under the influence of liquor in September 2006, was subsequently sentenced to 36 months probation and her license was suspended. She was found driving at 70 mph in a 35 mph zone and was charged with violating her probation in February 2007. She was then charged for 45 days in jail, which was later reduced to 23 days.
