Tony Gilroy, who co-wrote the script for the latest hit movie, The Bourne Ultimatum, is taking up direction with Michael Clayton. The movie, scripted by the director himself, was first premiered at the Venice Film Festival and also shown at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie, starring George Clooney in the lead, deals with corporate corruption. Clooney, 46, plays the title role in the film, which also casts Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton and Sydney Pollack. The movie revolves around the story of Michael Clayton, who works with a New York Law firm and has to face tension at work and in his personal life.
